<p>Cretan cuisine is renowned for its simplicity, freshness, and unique flavors. Throughout this tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Cretan cuisine, as well as how to prepare some of its most delicious dishes.</p>
<p>First we will visit a family-owned olive oil mill to learn about the process of producing high-quality olive oil, which is a staple ingredient in Cretan cuisine. We will have the opportunity to taste different varieties of olive oil and learn about their distinct flavors and characteristics.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll head to a local family-run restaurant where we&#8217;ll try some hearty and flavorful dishes.</p>
<p>During this tour, you&#8217;ll learn how to prepare some of the most delicious dishes of Cretan cuisine, such as Dakos, Tzatziki, Gemista: stuffed vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, or zucchini, filled with a mixture of rice, herbs, and sometimes ground meat and a delicious Cretan salad, made with juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, plenty of extra virgin olive oil and with local cheeses such as feta or mizithra.<br />
After our cooking lessons, we will sit down to enjoy our delicious creations, paired with local wines and traditional Cretan raki.<br />

Upon Arrival at Lasithi we will first visit the old wind mills and the famous Zeus cave. The Zeus Cave, is located at an altitude of 1020 m with the fantastic stalactites and stalagmites, which is the largest and one of most visited sites in Crete.</p>

<p>Lasithi is a region of 16 spectacular panoramic villages set in the Mountains and Tzermiado is the biggest and the capital of Lasithi. Lasithi is known worldwide for two things, for Its 12.000 windmills and Zeus cave. There were about 12.000-13.000 windmills pumping groundwater and it was the first and largest wind farm in Europe, but most have now been replaced by electric or petrol pumps. Apples and pears, cherries and plums, pomegranates and quins, strawberries, nuts, almonds, grapes, potatoes and tomatoes, lettuce, aubergines, artichokes, and much much more are grown on the Lasithi Plateau, since hundred  of years ago.</p>

<p>Dikteon Cave, Psychro Cave, or Zeus Cave which is located about a kilometer from the village Psychro at the height of 1025 meters.<br />
Named Dikteon Cave because it is nestled in Dikteon Range Mountains, Psychro Cave because is located in this village, and Zeus Cave because according to the mythology Zeus was born here. This is an impressive  cave  and one of the most visited sites in Crete.</p>

Like the other regions on Crete,It is rich in history and culture since the Minoan era.<br />
It is 78 km from Heraklion city and 66 km form Chania.<br />
In the old town,you can visit the Venetian Fortress and Harbour,Rimondi Fountain,Porta Guora,Neratze Mosque,It&#8217;s colourful Medieval buildings and narrow streets covered by beautiful flowers.</p>

With its soft white sand, clear blue waters, and endless sunshine, Palm Beach is the perfect destination for a day of relaxation and fun.</div>
<p>It is considered one of the most beautiful and clean beaches of Crete and has been awarded a Blue Flag by the European Union.<br />
It features the largest natural palm forest in Europe, approximately 5500-6000 palm trees.</p>
<p>In the 1970s Vai beach was apparently used to film a UK advert for the confectionary bar Bounty.</p>
<p>Vai Beach is located 24 km east of Sitia and is east mostly beach in Crete Island. It is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in Crete.</p>
<p>It is worth visiting.</p>
